The Legend of Outlander

We all tried to tell you,

What you were doing was wrong.

You kept on destroying,

Something that once was so strong.

Still you never listened,

Perhaps you’ll never learn,

You’re heading for the outlands,

To the point of no return!

You packed up your possessions,

Put them onto your back.

Turned towards the outlands,

Set of along the track.

You went to face your destiny,

To see what fate would bring.

You never really understood,

The nature of this thing!

Many a year you wandered,

Gaining wisdom all the while;

Returning as the teacher,

Secrets hidden behind your smile,

What was it that changed you?

That altered how you feel.

Was it living in the outlands?

That made your dreams so real.

You created our worst nightmare,

In fear, we now sleep.

You have seen, inside our souls,

And the secrets that we keep,

Now you dream the lives of men,

Dispel them out of hand.

You take us down the dusty road,

To the heart of the great outlands!

We all tried to tell you,

Not knowing we were wrong.

And we the ones destroying,

Our friendship for so long!

Now we have to listen,

And yes we have to learn.

That, we’re heading for the outlands,

To the point of no return!
