Dreams

We all have dreams both great and small,
Some we reach and from others, we fall.
But my greatest dream of all,
Is to be in love with you!
I constantly look at your photograph,
The way you smile, the way you laugh.
I want to be able to find that path,
That leads right to your heart.

 

When we speak on the phone,
I don't feel so quite alone.
And for me, a love has grown,
That I wish to share with you!
When at last the phone call ends,
I'm lost again without my friend.
My love for you will never end,
I just long to be with you!

 

You, beautiful lady, have won my heart,
Though we live so far apart!
A caring relationship I'd like to start,
And include you in my life.
Your children would be fine with me,
You and them I would like to see.
