I Dreamed Upon a Dream Once

I dreamed, upon a dream once,

My dream, it came true,

And the vision that I beheld my love,

Was the perfect image of you!

 

I feasted my eyes upon you,

Such beauty ne’er seen before,

And well before the night was out,

‘Twas you that I adored

 

Your friendly smile had won me.

Plus, the sparkle in your eyes,

Has totally overwhelmed me,

You took me by surprise.

 

For I, like you weren’t looking

Though fate just played its part,

By drawing us together, and

Love flourished, within our hearts.

 

It has taken such a long time,

For us to finally meet,

For you alone my beauty,

Makes my life feel oh so sweet!

 

I wish that we’d met sooner,

Though now we’re in our time.

Life just doesn’t get any better,

With a love that’s so sublime.

Whilst, down on bended knee.
