Oh My Goddess

You are as the golden dawn,
In the Springtime of my life.
Uncoiling from my foetal imprisonment,
I venture forth from the womb .
Into a new existence of light and learning,
In view of your great majesty.
A servant to your bidding,
Refusing nothing of purity and strength

Receiving, accepting your loving embrace

You are the sunlight
On the midsummer morning of my life.
I stand proud, tall and erect awaiting,
The warmth of your golden touch
upon my body, and thrill at your every murmur.
To treat you with kindness, to
Hold you in high regard above all others
To bathe in your love, as the suns
Life giving rays kiss the mother earth herself.

You are as the dusky twilight,
That governs the autumn of my life.
Turning from blossoming flowers into ripening fruit,
Thus replacing youthfulness with maturity.
Scattering forth a new seed in your path,
Lying dormant within the heart of hearts.

Heady days of lusting, receding now ,
Into passionate memories of yearning.
As I rush headlong into old age.

You are the moonlight,
On the midwinter solstice of my life.
Ancient, bent and withered awaiting,
Still the softness of your silvery touch.
I thrill in the knowledge, of my passage

From life safely wrapped in your loving embrace.
Now to embrace eternity, you and I together.
Sitting in perpetuity at Brighid's right hand,
Committing our love to the sacred scrolls of life..
