Raven's Call

In these days that we live,
Can we save our soul?
We'll have to listen closely to,
The sound of the raven's call.
Down these shades of history,
Within times tolling bell.
Are we headed for heaven,
Or on the road to hell?
Are we waiting for someone,
Who has the ways to show?
Could it be, we're waiting for,
A long lost hero?

We can take, to our heels,
And fly before the sun.
But is this just something,
That we cannot outrun?
We can ride upon the wind,
In tall ships afore the storm.
But was it all within our hearts
That all our sorrows were born
What could we ask ourselves,
But what are we asking for?
Could it be were looking to
A long lost hero

In these times of stories told,
In legends now long gone.
We place our faith, and our hope,
In the minstrel's song.
Looking towards the horizon,
The distances begins to grow.
And once again I hear the song.
Of these long lost heroes.
It's in the wind that whispers,
It's In the afterglow.
And If you listen intently,
You'll hear the raven's call!
